Meet the Sisters

Meet the founders of A New Day For Kids. These sisters are compassionate, imaginative and enjoy creating together every day.  Even though there is a 6-year age difference these two sisters are like peas in a pod and do nearly everything together. You can find them on any given day singing, playing, and crafting together. A New Day For Kids has been created so they can share their works of art and talents with you. They are always up to something from; music, art, writing books, plays, making videos, or performing on stage.

It all started with having fun filming each other and posting on youtube just for fun. Then they talked about how they wished they could help others. Once they saw what an impact their mom was having on others when she decided to co-author a book to help other women they got an idea.

Their goal is to bring their imaginations to life and encourage other children to not just dream big but make their dreams a reality. Like most girls, their age they have dreams. Haylyn wants to be an actress and singer. So far she has been in 18 musicals and written two songs and one play. Hadley dreams of being a Ballerina and is part of next-generation Ballet. You can find her dancing and spinning around all hours of the day. But, that's them how can they help and influence others. They decided to start thinking about what can they do now just what can I do later.

They wanted to create a book series for younger kids that would be entertaining, educational, and show that you can accomplish things that once seemed impossible when you work together. They both love animals and wanted to find a way to incorporate that. The idea for Spotty was born.

They wanted to create a book series for younger children that would be entertaining, educational, and show that you can accomplish things that once seemed impossible when you work together.  The animals although they are different will have to work together to accomplish a goal. Spotty's  adventures will bring the readers to new creatures and places in Africa while addressing goal setting, teamwork education, and conservation.

Hadley

This Picture says it all. Hadley is the youngest of three sisters, but don't count her out. She may only be 7 but she is full of character. She is our fashionista, never a hair out of place, ballerina that just wants everyone to get along. If she is not dancing she is painting, drawing or creating some concoction. She loves all things pink, unicorns and rainbows like most girls her age. Every night she prays for covid to go away and the whole world feel better. She has been dancing now for three years and is now studying with Next-Generation Ballet. She absolutely loves Ballet. She is homeschooled with her sister through the Classical Conversations Program. She thinks her sister Haylyn hung the Moon and wanted to create this book series with her to have something that was truly theirs forever. She can’t wait to read it to her kids one day.

Haylyn

Haylyn is the middle sister, one older and one younger, but she always finds a way to shine. She has been acting and writing from a young age. She loves the stage, she calls it her happy place. At just 13 years old she has already been in 18 productions and written several songs, short stories, and one-acts. Her talents and kind-hearted nature have been an inspiration to her little sister and those around her. Because she has always been homeschooled she likes to take the initiative on projects and prefers to learn in a fun and creative ways. That is the biggest reason this story and series was born. She hopes the young readers will learn cool facts they didn’t know about the animals and how to respect each other's differences.
